Shameless Plug

Feeling pretty awesome right now:
Vancouver noise-rock duo Japandroids have topped their competition in the Vancouver Canucks NU2 Project contest, and their song The House That Heaven Built was voted by fans as the new entrance song for the team (for two games, at least).
According to a tweet by the Canucks during Tuesday night’s game against the Phoenix Coyotes, it wasn’t even close.

Judging from the video, it'd be a good idea for those boys to get on a liver transplant list asap.

Just watched a double feature on Netflix while I worked at home today: Slap Shot and then Goon.

I'm feeling all ice hockey, what with the 16" of snow we've gotten over the last three days.

Leaving a note at a deadblog, just for shits 'n' giggles.

Saw teh Japandroids at a small hall a few weeks back. Extremely noisy and satisfying, especially with the opening band, A Place To Bury Strangers.
