To think, I used to think System 7 was buggy.
Have you heard of the Phantom Time Hypothesis? The theory goes that various parts of history (including Charlemagne) did not in fact happen. They were invented to fill in historical gaps.
The same can be held for Windows ME, and the Apple Pippin game system.
And the Apple Newton.
I has a windoze ME machine.
