This ought to be good

Dick Cheney is in town tonight to promote his memoir/autobiography/torture apology, and of course there will be protests.

Bonus democratic representation (remember that, Yanks?):
But Vancouver-Kingsway New Democrat M-P Don Davies said Cheney should not even be allowed into Canada because those methods are considered torture.
Davies said Cheney must be banned from Canada for authorizing actions banned under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
New York-based Human Rights Watch said Saturday that Canadian law provides for prosecution of an individual for torture and other crimes, even for offences committed outside of Canada.
Sadly, comments appear to be closed on the article.

I keep thinking Dick Cheney was created by an alien race as a psychology experiment for the rest of us.

The RCMP doesn't operate too much in the city. It'll be the VPD, who like beating up anyone who's handy so maybe Cheney will get his due.

I am surprised he crossed the border. But I guess he figured Vanc wouldn't be too far.

You Canucks definitely need better border security.
