Apparently, if you have a YouTube video and a Blogger post window open in Google Chrome, it crashes. The irony would be more amusing if some jackass weren't parked outside blasting the same song on repeat at five o'clock in the morning. For ten minutes and counting.
The song may say "I love myself today" but it translates "You should really find another place to park. Preferably in the river."
Insomnia sucks when you know you could have avoided it by drinking more. Good thing I'm back on day shifts this week, or I might have lost more than an hour or two of sleep.
EDIT: fifteen minutes and counting. It is the same section of the song, looped over and over. I have new theory that it's someone's alarm song on their phone, and they are sleeping through it.
IMMEDIATE EDIT: literally while typing the preceding update, it was turned off.

but more importantly, it appears M. Bouffant's site will crash the embedded player if you visit it while listening to the Professional Left.
Not as ironic, perhaps, but still annoying.
The cicadas outside my window have been playing the same song for months now... and although I like the song for a week or two, months is taking it a bit to far!
too far...
All of these problems can be mitigated by more drinking.
the cause of and solution to life's problems
I had "Devil Inside" going for 20 minutes outside my place once. I dearly wanted a cinderblock to throw off the balcony.
Chrome was my worst mistake with a computer since buying World of Warcraft. It uses huge amounts of system resources on my gigantic Alienware pc, and even with only one window open, it somehow spawns multiple running copies of itself and bogs down my internet connection. I pretty much hate it.
Or it used to until I moved, now that computer doesn't work at all, and I have no internet connection at home.
