Mooseblogging: Holiday Satchmo special

Because few things go better with Louis Armstrong:

We are off for the rest of the holidays, engaging in merry-making, which of course involves drinking, family, friends, a couple of band rehearsals (more on that later) and a large amount of cheese.

Happy holidays to you and yours. Here's hoping I get to see a few of you in the new year (hello, Chicago!) and maybe make some extra stops along the way. I've made too many friends around here not to stop by and say hi.

And a happy new year, too!

Varia

  1. Weedy is in town for a few weeks, and after a few nights of drinking he has decided that I have become a bad influence on him. What a strange world we live in.
  2. But thanks to him I have seen this, which is currently the first video you get if you type "George Washington" into a YouTube search.. You will want to have headphones on for this one, and probably not be in the office or have any children nearby.
  3. Working from home is very strange when you're corresponding with clients wearing little more than a bathrobe, and wondering if they might be similarly attired.
  4. Also, Outlook 2007 is the spawn of Satan.
  5. Not reading any news at all for most of the week has been incredibly liberating. I should try that more often.
Back after the weekend.

Wat

The music I don't mind, but I clearly don't do nearly enough acid to comprehend this:

If you need me, I'll be frolicking in the countryside wearing a gold lamé suit.
